Amid Iran-US tensions, the UK has deployed 4 Typhoon fighter jets in Qatar. According to the British Ministry of Defence, the jets have been sent for defensive purposes. The US move comes at a time when President Trump has warned Iran that the United States is dispatching a large fleet toward the Middle East. Previously, Trump had stated that he would not take further military action against Iran, but if Iran restarts its nuclear program, the US will respond.
