Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal is renowned for his extraordinary physical fitness, rigorous workout routines, and acting prowess, having inspired fans over the years with his dedication to his craft. Few know that he performs his own action scenes.
He practices Kalaripayattu (or Kalari), an ancient Indian martial art from Kerala. From yoga namaste stretches to animal movements, this art beautifully blends mental focus and physical strength. Vidyut Jammwal revealed that once a year, under the yoga practice of “Sehja,” he climbs trees and buries himself in snow while naked.
The actor posted a video on his Instagram account this week, showing him climbing a tree, with the practice aimed at forging a deeper connection with nature and inner awareness.
In the video, Vidyut can be seen climbing the tree with Tarzan-like skill; however, fans’ attention was drawn to the fact that he was performing this activity completely naked, without even underwear. Sharing the video on his official Instagram handle, he wrote that as a Kalaripayattu practitioner, he engages in the yoga practice of Sehja once a year.
He further wrote that scientifically, it activates countless neuro-receptors and proprio-receptors, enhancing balance and harmony, resulting in heightened bodily awareness, mental equanimity, and a profound sense of stability. One user commented, “But why was getting naked necessary to climb the tree?” Another remarked, “Tarzan at least wore a loincloth, but sir, you’re on another level altogether.” A user said, “I wasn’t expecting this scene at all.”
