Washington: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that the Iranian government is possibly weaker than before.
Speaking to the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Marco Rubio said Iran’s economy is in decline, and the Iranian government is possibly weaker than before.
He stated that protests will erupt again in Iran in the future; thousands of people were certainly killed in Iran’s recent protests.
It may be noted that recently, protests against inflation took place in Iran, in which several people were killed, and the country also faced an internet shutdown.
