Local media claims that Nasser bin Riddan Al-Rashid Al-Wadaei was 142 years old. His funeral prayer was offered in the kingdom’s southern region, after which he was buried in his ancestral village of Al-Rashid. Over 7,000 people attended the funeral.
Family sources report that Nasser bin Riddan Al-Wadaei performed Hajj more than 40 times and was known for his strong religious devotion. It is said he married for the last time at age 110, after which a daughter was born to him. In total, the deceased had 134 children and grandchildren.
