US Vice President JD Vance has declared the Supreme Court’s decision based on illegality.
In a social media message, the Vice President stated that the judicial decision is lawlessness in clear and simple terms, and it will make it more difficult for the President to ensure the protection of American industries and supply chains.
He further said that President Donald Trump has several other authorities available to impose tariffs, and he will use those authorities to defend American workers and advance the administration’s trade priorities.
It may be recalled that the US Supreme Court has declared President Trump’s tariff measures null and void.
In this regard, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that other laws will now be relied upon for tariffs.
