Vicky Kaushal made his first public appearance since welcoming a baby boy with wife Katrina Kaif.
The actor was recently honoured with the Actor of the Year award for his portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Chhaava. During his acceptance speech, the 37-year-old spoke about his son for the first time publicly and dedicated the award to him.
“This is the first time I’ve left the city since becoming a father, and it was very tough. But I’m sure that when he grows up and sees this, he’ll be proud of his dad,” Vicky said.
When asked if fatherhood feels more challenging than his work in Chhaava, he responded, “It’s still too new to feel any challenges. Right now, it’s all magical and blissful.”
He added, “I often feel that words can’t capture my feelings. There are countless adjectives I could use, but it’s truly a very special feeling. God has been very kind, and our family is very happy.”
Vicky concluded by dedicating the award to his family, especially his little one.
Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their first child in November 2025.
