Opposition protested in the joint parliamentary session over inclusion in the Gaza Peace Board. Addressing the joint session of Parliament, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said that what could not happen in the name of nationalism is now starting in the name of the Peace Board. He stated that we have become part of the Peace Board without consensus, and we don’t know what the points of the Peace Board are.
On this occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Donald Trump is bolstering Israel’s aggression and issuing threats to Hamas; we are joining a forum that is beginning with threats. He remarked that the Prime Minister did not take Parliament and the cabinet into confidence on the decision to join the Peace Board.
