Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan has said that Imran Khan is being kept in solitary confinement in order to torture him.
Speaking to the media at the Marble Factory checkpost yesterday, accompanied by her sisters, Aleema Khan said that they are not being allowed to meet Imran Khan, and that over the past year only about two dozen meetings have taken place.
She said that on Tuesday as well, the police did not allow Imran Khan’s sisters to meet him in Adiala Jail; the last meeting was arranged on 2 December, while Salman Safdar went on 20 December and was forcibly allowed only an eight-minute meeting.
She added that they thought they would turn the PTI founder into a mental patient, but Imran Khan is in jail for his nation, and that he is being kept in solitary confinement in order to torture him.
