Certainly, most people know that this video was recorded 20 years ago by YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim while strolling at the San Diego Zoo, talking about the elephants.
This 19-second video was uploaded to YouTube on April 23, 2005, and has been viewed over 320 million times so far, receiving more than 18 million likes. However, it has now also become part of a museum.
It has been placed in an exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London.
A museum spokesperson said that they have acquired an early web page of this video-sharing platform and the very first video on YouTube.
According to the spokesperson, they have been working on recreating the initial watch page design of this video for the past 18 months.
The museum partnered with YouTube’s team and a design studio for this purpose.
It has been placed in one section of the museum, while a mini display has also been provided to view it.
