In Dubai’s Global Sports Summit, Pakistan’s javelin sensation Arshad Nadeem met FIFA President Gianni Infantino for a warm chat.
Infantino, already familiar with Nadeem’s feats, asked about his throws. Nadeem revealed his 92-meter personal best and ambitions to shatter it. Infantino offered congratulations, wished him luck, and they posed for photos—delighting the athlete.
Earlier, Sheikh Mansoor bin Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum—son of Dubai’s ruler—handed Nadeem the Global Breakthrough Athlete Award, saluting his rise as a top global thrower and etching a milestone for Pakistan athletics.
Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar hailed the honor.
