The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Friday that registration is now live for overseas players eyeing spots in the 11th Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition.
“The foreign player registration window for PSL 11 is officially open,” the board stated.
This launch coincides with the league’s “historic expansion” to eight franchises—its biggest season yet—boosting international involvement.
PCB highlighted that the jump from six teams creates far more roster openings and income potential for global talent.
“Agents and players should register by January 20, 2026, for the Player Pool,” it urged, with the link on its website.
Debuting in 2016, PSL 11 marks the first eight-team format. The two new franchises’ auction is set for January 8 in Islamabad, live-streamed.
PCB had recently extended franchise bids from December 15 to 22, per Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s X post, due to robust interest from Europe, the US, and Middle East investors.
This marks PSL’s first major overhaul in seven years, growing from six to eight teams.
