Pakistan Super League (PSL) has announced changes to its administrative structure; player selection for the 11th edition will be through auction instead of draft. The auction system will create balanced teams and give players higher earning opportunities. Mentors, brand ambassadors, and right-to-match rules have been eliminated in the new edition.
Before the auction, each franchise can retain 4 players overall, but a maximum of one per category. The two new teams will also get to select 4 players each pre-auction, while every franchise is allowed to directly sign one international player. For direct signing, the eligible international player must not have been part of the 2025 edition.
HBL PSL 11th edition will start on March 26. Some matches of this season will also be held at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
