Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding Bangladesh’s stance on not playing T20 World Cup matches in India.
PCB’s Supportive Letter
Media reports indicate PCB sent the letter supporting Bangladesh’s position and also forwarded it to ICC board members; ICC has called a board meeting today to discuss Bangladesh’s refusal to travel to India.
Key Issues
ICC is unlikely to change venues for Bangladesh’s matches, while PCB proposed hosting them in Pakistan. It should be noted that Bangladesh decided not to go to India due to security concerns and remains firm on its stance in negotiations with ICC.
