Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that the health of every citizen of Punjab is our responsibility, and providing free and quality treatment facilities is our resolve.
Stroke Treatment Success
Stroke patients can not only save their lives but also avoid lifelong disability if they reach the relevant hospital within 4 hours. Under CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, the Stroke Management Program in government hospitals is bringing hope for healthy lives to stroke patients. Over 700 patients across Punjab have recovered from strokes in one year.
Patient Recovery Story
70-year-old Shareefa Bibi from Thokar Niazi Baig in Lahore recovered within hours after reaching the hospital timely following a severe stroke attack. Her right body side was fully paralyzed, with only her tongue and finger movements intact. At Services Hospital’s CM Stroke Management Center, she received the advanced “tNK” injection to dissolve the stroke clot—provided free (worth 3 lakh rupees) on CM Maryam Nawaz’s directives.
Family Gratitude and Expansion
Shareefa Bibi said CM Maryam’s initiative gave her a new life; her son thanked her profusely, noting the injection prevented permanent disability. 14 such centers across Punjab offer free tNK injections; CM Maryam has directed expanding to more districts.
