According to police, this shooting incident occurred in Karachi’s Bhens Colony area, where the girl’s father, along with accomplices, opened fire on his daughter and son-in-law, and one citizen was also injured in the crossfire.
Police stated that the couple was killed in the shooting; they had a love marriage a month ago and hailed from Thatta.
IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho has taken notice of the incident and sought a report.
On the other hand, Suchan Police reported that 2 suspects involved in the incident have been arrested; the suspects were apprehended within hours based on technical and intelligence grounds.
According to police, preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects, along with accomplices, carried out the shooting due to personal enmity; a case has been registered under murder and other charges, and raids are underway to arrest more suspects.
