App Implementation
Police officials state that a dedicated app has been developed for this purpose, with experimental operations set to start soon.
How It Works
The app will be downloaded onto the personal mobile phones of authorized police officers in Karachi. During duty, if an officer spots any vehicle violating traffic rules in their area, they will capture a photo via the app.
Automated Process
Under the automatic system, the photo will be sent directly to the traffic police’s e-challaning officer, who will issue the e-challan for the violation, with details of the reporting officer also included.
