In a statement, Atta Tarar said this is Pakistan’s successful foreign policy that Pakistan is gaining respect worldwide; previously Pakistan was isolated, but now it is emerging as a key player in every global matter.
He said Pakistan received major appreciation in the Board of Peace and has emerged as an important country on the world stage.
The federal minister further said that when leadership is honest, the result is always positive; the Prime Minister fought the case of Palestinians, and the Prime Minister has continued to speak on Palestine at every forum.
Addressing the first meeting of the Gaza Peace Board chaired by US President Donald Trump in Washington, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Palestinians should be given their rights in accordance with Security Council resolutions; an independent and sovereign Palestinian state is their right, and ceasefire violations in Gaza must stop for lasting peace.
