Islamabad: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal stated that Pakistan’s participation in the Gaza Peace Board is to stop the ongoing Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.
In the joint parliamentary session, the government defended its decision to join the Gaza Peace Board, and Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said no one should taunt us with accusations of cowardice or negligence.
He remarked that the Muslim League does not need lessons from anyone on national security, and joining the Gaza Peace Board is aimed at halting the Israeli atrocities on Palestinians.
The federal minister added that if Pakistan did not join the Peace Board, the opposition would say Pakistan has been left alone; now that Pakistan has been given an important role, it should be celebrated.
