Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif chaired a consultative meeting in Islamabad on reforms in Pakistan Railways.
He directed preparation of a comprehensive and effective strategy with practical steps for organized management and profit-generating commercial use of Pakistan Railways.
Sharif stated ongoing reforms will transform it into a profitable entity boosting national industry, trade, and investor facilitation, with revolutionary measures already yielding positive results and adequate budget allocation planned for next year’s development program.
