Peshawar: PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has declared the Punjab Forensic Lab’s report on May 9 illegal.
In a conversation with Geo News, Salman Akram Raja said that he didn’t know Sohail Afridi a few months ago; he is an asset of PTI, and no one can remove him from the path.
He stated that the Punjab Forensic Lab’s report is illegal. The investigation process was already complete—how did the court send it to the forensic lab? We will challenge the Punjab Forensic Lab and this investigation process in court.
The PTI leader said that if talks are to happen, Allama Nasr Abbas and Mahmood Achakzai have been authorized. We won’t negotiate through backdoors for any relief—we now have to take the case to the people. We sat with the government before too, had biscuits and tea, and nothing happened. Even for meetings, they say they’ll check and let us know.
It may be recalled that the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory had confirmed the presence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, PTI leader Kamran Bangash, Taimur Jhagra, and Irfan Salim at the May 9 incidents.
