According to Punjab Police, notorious dacoit Mujeeb (with a PKR 10 million bounty), Matara Sukhani (PKR 5 million bounty), and Nawab Sukhani (PKR 2.5 million bounty) are among those who surrendered. Punjab Police states that so far, 5 dacoits with PKR 10 million bounties each have surrendered in Rajanpur; the arrested dacoits were wanted in dozens of serious cases including kidnapping for ransom, murder, and dacoity. Police have destroyed 27 hideouts and bunkers of the dacoits.
