Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah declared the Toshakhana ruling a stark proof of corruption under PTI’s governance, accusing its founder and allies of plundering national resources during their term.
He stressed that PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi received sentences fully compliant with constitutional and legal standards—contrasting PTI’s claims of political victimization through fabricated cases.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Interior Senator Talal Chaudhry called the case airtight, with conviction unavoidable due to their lack of defense.
Chaudhry highlighted how Bushra Bibi and the PTI leader grabbed valuables like a priceless necklace, dinner sets, and phones in the first Toshakhana matter, undervaluing them fraudulently. He noted Toshakhana gifts are state trusts, betrayed by retaining billions-worth items for mere rupees.
