Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has revealed that a fake voice of his was created to extort money.
During the National Assembly session, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq revealed that someone created my voice and demanded money from someone. When that person contacted me to ask, I told them I hadn’t made any such demand.
During the session, Ijaz-ul-Haq said that 19 challans have come to me; yesterday one more challan arrived. MNA Alia Kamran remarked that this money goes to some account—how many accounts have been identified? Replying, Talal Chaudhry said that a rent-a-account scam is operating here; we are identifying all those involved. Ikhtiar Baig informed that the State Bank has also been involved in this regard.
