Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti: Missing Persons Issue Permanently Resolved
Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that the missing persons issue in Balochistan has been resolved on a permanent basis.
In a statement on social media site X, Sarfraz Bugti said that only through good governance and merit can we address the deprivations of Balochistan’s people and connect them with the state. He added that for better governance in Balochistan, the Balochistan Cabinet has approved the creation of two new divisions: Pishin and Koh Sulaiman, and work is underway to create more divisions and districts.
Sarfraz Bugti further stated that the missing persons issue in Balochistan has been permanently resolved. Various people merely politicized the missing persons issue, blamed the state, and sought votes. We have resolved it for the first time.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan said that law enforcement agencies have a legal framework for investigating suspects, so now the state cannot be blamed for missing persons.
He announced that to ensure merit in Balochistan, they are about to start verifying the degrees of government employees. FIRs and strict legal action will be taken against holders of fake degrees, with the process beginning in Dera Bugti and Nasirabad.
