9 people lost their lives in traffic accidents in Chagai district of Balochistan and Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Near Yak Machh area in Chagai district of Balochistan, a collision between two vehicles resulted in 7 deaths and 3 injuries. According to police officials, the bodies and injured were shifted to Dalbandin Hospital.
On the other hand, an accident occurred near Anbar Interchange on the M-1 Motorway in Swabi, where 5 vehicles collided with each other, resulting in 2 deaths and 10 injuries. According to rescue officials, the injured and bodies were transferred to Bacha Khan Medical Complex; the affected vehicles were en route from Peshawar to Islamabad. Traffic on the motorway was disrupted for some time during the accident. The initial cause of the accident could not be ascertained.
