Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, responding to MQM, said that politics under the guise of the tragedy and attempts to divide the province will not be allowed. Murtaza Wahab stated that even roads in Punjab are built by the federation, but there’s no cooperation in Karachi—don’t ask us why our Yellow and Red Lines aren’t complete yet; ask the federation why its Green Line project in Karachi isn’t finished. Responding to MQM, the Karachi Mayor also said that politics under the cover of the tragedy and efforts to split the province will not be permitted.
On the other hand, MQM leader Senator Faisal Sabzwari said that politics is the game of possibilities, handing Karachi over to the federation is also possible, and no one is doing politics under the guise of the tragedy. It may be recalled that MQM Pakistan is demanding that Karachi be handed over to the federation.
